The Spanish Civil Guard has arrested an employee of a book distribution company who made tens of thousands of dollars from an illegal book trade. According to 'Antena 3' station, the employee, along with two other individuals, managed to steal a large quantity of books over several years by exploiting his position. His accomplices sold the books through an online platform, generating a profit estimated by police at around 400,000 euros (approximately $458,000). According to the Madrid Civil Guard command, the investigation began after the book distribution company filed a complaint about the loss of numerous book copies over several years.
