The Ministry of Labor estimates that 410 employees from 70 companies in Castilla-La Mancha would be affected by the Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA). This data was provided on Tuesday in Toledo by the third vice president and minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, during a meeting with social agents and regional authorities to assess the repercussions of this catastrophe in the area.

In the region, 191 self-employed workers have reported the suspension of their activities due to the situation, and two Temporary Employment Regulation Files (ERTE) due to force majeure have been implemented for two people from Mira, in Cuenca. Mira, along with Letur in Albacete, were the most affected towns by the DANA that occurred on October 29.

During the meeting, Díaz was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Labor, Joaquín Pérez Rey. The government delegate in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, the Minister of Economy, Companies, and Employment, Patricia Franco, and representatives from the CCOO and UGT unions were also present.

Furthermore, the minister plans to meet this afternoon with representatives from the Social Economy sector, alongside Secretary of State Amparo Merino, and with local officials from the Public Employment Service and the Labor and Social Security Inspection.
