Additionally, the detention of 10 people for burglaries in homes and tobacco shops in La Puebla de Montalbán was mentioned, as well as the 12 arrested in the Rantai operation, who operated in towns in Toledo, Ciudad Real, and Cuenca. The charges range from being part of a criminal group, burglary with force, robbery with violence, to others such as usurpation of property, forgery of documents, among others.
The delegate, Milagros Tolón, highlighted the importance of the actions carried out by the Civil Guard in the province of Toledo, assuring that they continuously work to ensure the safety of the citizenry. She also expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the citizens in these cases.
In the operation called 'Komora', a criminal group responsible for several crimes, mainly burglary with force in supermarkets in Toledo, Madrid, and Ciudad Real, was dismantled. The detainees, aged between 21 and 31 years, were linked to 49 crimes, and part of the stolen money, weapons, and stolen vehicles were recovered.
In another operation, 5 members of a gang operating in the Torrijos area were arrested. The gang had increased the aggressiveness of their actions, even firing shots into the air. After several searches, cash, weapons were recovered, and the members of the criminal group were arrested.
The work of the Civil Guard in dismantling these criminal groups is emphasized, as they used heavy tools to rob premises, disabled security systems, and moved around in high-end stolen vehicles. Citizen cooperation has been key in several of these operations, demonstrating that security is a joint effort.
