A group representing the residents of Toledo and committed to serving them has denied the statements made by the Minister of Development. The councilor of the Vox Municipal Group, Florentino Delgado, has reaffirmed his political formation's position in favor of the 'Toledo Central' option in the route of the Madrid-Lisbon AVE. According to Delgado, Vox's priority is 'to defend the best for our city and its residents.'
In Delgado's words, Vox is a coherent group that stands firm in its position and will not tolerate falsehoods from the Minister of Development. He also pointed out that they have had direct contact with technicians from the Ministry of Transport and concluded that 'Toledo Central' is the best choice for the city, without compromising its declaration as a World Heritage site.
Regarding the supposed interest of the minister in two stations, Delgado expressed his bewilderment and stated that they will continue working to ensure Toledo progresses while maintaining its heritage legacy. He also lamented the obstacles set by the Regional Government that could hinder the development of the AVE and encouraged the minister to focus on solving deep-rooted problems in the city instead of spreading misinformation.
The Vox Municipal Group in Toledo has assessed its management and the alliance with the PP, ensuring that the collaboration is in good shape. Delgado emphasized that they are committed to moving the city forward, combining progress with the preservation of heritage, highlighting the importance of realizing the AVE for the development of Toledo.
