In the latest disaster caused by the worst cold snap of the century in Spain, the tragic death of two women in the municipalities of Cuenca and Albacete, and a man in Malaga is reported. Additionally, five people are missing after the devastating storm.

During the night of the disaster, many people were trapped in their vehicles, roads, homes, and workplaces, desperately calling for help through social media. The region hardest hit by the storm was Valencia, where 92 fatalities were recorded.

One of the fatalities was found in the municipality of Minglanilla, province of Cuenca, after being swept away by the water current. In Albacete, another woman lost her life while trying to cross a flooded area and was carried away by the force of the water.

In this desolate scenario, the death of a man in Malaga is reported under circumstances similar to those of the victims in Cuenca and Albacete. On the other hand, authorities continue the search for five missing persons amidst flooded streets, destroyed roads, and communities devastated by the forces of nature.
