The cause of the outage, which lasted for about an hour and affected several countries including the United States, Spain, and France, remains unknown. Users reported service issues on both the mobile app and web version, according to reports sent to Downdetector. The site now shows a gradual recovery of activity. When trying to reload the page, X displayed the message: "Posts are not loading at this time. Please try again," but this did not work. At 3:30 PM, Downdetector recorded a peak of 2,080 reports from Spanish users experiencing service problems. For U.S. customers, that figure exceeded 27,700. Similar incidents were also reported in other countries, with a peak of 2,500 in France and over 1,300 in Italy. Despite the restoration of service, X has not yet commented on these technical issues.
