The Spanish company Naturgy has confirmed that it will not enter the solar panel installation market, preferring to focus its efforts on improving its electric service. This decision was communicated to the Panama Chamber of Solar Energy.
In addition, the company indicated that an unexpected incident caused by the fall of a tree on the electrical network resulted in service disruption for some users. Regarding this event, Naturgy is working on the prompt restoration of the affected supply and implementing measures to prevent similar situations in the future.
In the words of a company spokesperson: "We remain committed to providing quality electric service to our customers in Panama. Despite the current situation, we continue to focus on ensuring supply continuity and improving our infrastructure to avoid incidents like the recent one."
