The regional government of Andalusia has presented a new allocation of 800 million euros in its budget for 2025, mainly dedicated to housing-related policies. This approach is positioned as one of the priorities in the political discourse in the region.
The accounts of the Junta of Andalusia for the year 2025 will include a significant increase of 2 billion euros, representing a 4.4% increase compared to the current year. This growth will bring the total budget to 48.836 billion euros, marking a milestone as the highest budget in the history of the autonomous community.
Among the priority areas highlighted in the preliminary budget plan are the increase in public spending on Health, Education, and social policies. These segments will continue to capture the majority of the budget, as has been usual, representing six out of every ten euros allocated to public spending in Andalusia.
