Salary Increase and Budget in Andalusia

In 2025, the Junta de Andalucía plans a 2% salary increase and has set aside 1.6 billion euros for public personnel, especially in Education and Health.

The current agreement for the year 2024 included an additional increase of 0.5% in salaries that has not yet been applied and will be implemented in 2025. Additionally, the budget includes the completion of the salary increase process for teaching staff agreed upon in 2022. All of this depends on the decision of the Government of Spain, which must establish its criteria in the General State Budgets or through a Cabinet agreement, as occurred in 2024.

The Junta de Andalucía has reserved resources for a 2% salary increase for its staff, which will allow it to address the possibility of a new increase in public personnel remuneration in 2025, based on the inflation rate predicted by the European Central Bank. A total of 16.277 billion euros will be allocated for this purpose, representing an increase of 4.2% compared to the current fiscal year.

On the other hand, the budget includes the necessary funds to address stabilization and staff increase processes, especially in the Education and Health sectors. Almost one-third of the Junta de Andalucía's Budget is allocated to personnel expenses, which means an additional approximately 650 million euros.
