Mercadona Closes Nationwide on All Saints' Day

Mercadona will close all its supermarkets in Spain on November 1st, celebrating All Saints' Day. The chain encourages planning purchases in advance due to this national holiday.

The supermarket chain Mercadona, under the presidency of Juan Roig, has decided to implement its policy of closing on national holidays and will not open its stores throughout Spain on November 1, in celebration of All Saints' Day. The company has communicated through its official channels the commercial hours corresponding to this Friday, November 1, advising customers to use this information to plan their purchases in advance.

All Mercadona establishments will maintain their usual hours from nine in the morning to nine thirty at night on both October 31 and November 2. It is important to highlight that in the province of Valencia and other areas affected by DANA, the company has asked consumers to avoid unnecessary hoarding, particularly of water, ensuring that the supply is guaranteed.

As a measure of collaboration, Mercadona has enabled a search tool on its website that allows users to check the commercial hours of all its supermarkets across Spanish territory.
