Pilar Pardo, a neighbor from Mos, is in a desperate situation as she refuses to leave her home without fighting, even risking her health. She claims to feel abandoned by the authorities, who warn her of possible legal consequences for trying to reclaim her own occupied home.
Coexistence deteriorated when the occupying family accumulated garbage on the property and generated debts in the neighborhood. Pilar attempted to ask them to leave, but her requests were rejected. The situation worsened to the point of receiving threats and suffering physical assaults, including an incident in which her son was beaten and threatened with a knife.
Desperate and without legal support, Pilar decided to barricade herself in a room of her own house and start a hunger strike until the conflict was resolved. The relationship with the occupying family began casually, as their children were schoolmates. Pilar agreed to temporarily accommodate them in an empty family home, but their stay extended beyond what was agreed upon.
In Pilar's words: "I will leave here dead or on a stretcher, but I will not leave my home without a fight." The woman recounts in a video that what began as an act of generosity has turned into a calvary, as the tenants refuse to vacate the property. The situation has deeply affected her family, especially her son, who feels guilty for having intervened in favor of the occupying family at the time.
