La Liga President Javier Tebas attacked Real Madrid and its president Florentino Perez. Tebas criticized Perez's actions during the negotiations for the creation of a new league. He called Perez's actions "very sad" and expressed regret that the president of Real was involved in this process without consulting other clubs and the league.
"The naive behavior of Perez costs us dearly," Tebas stated. He also emphasized that La Liga will not allow such actions in the future and will protect the interests of all clubs.
