La Liga President Javier Tebas stated that the league will file a complaint against Real Madrid due to a protest statement against the judiciary, considering that the club "is at odds with common interests and is trying to inflict harm on the competition," while the Madrid club "loses reason." Tebas announced the filing of a complaint against Real Madrid under the presidency of Florentino Perez following a speech after a meeting attended by representatives of La Liga, the judicial commission, the Spanish football federation, and all other clubs, except Real, which refused to participate.
"We will file a complaint against the club that sent this message to the League Council. We are examining the issue from a legal standpoint, because it is obvious that such statements cannot be accepted, taking into account the significant part of the falsification in the very message. And actually, they are trying to influence things that they can no longer do, they've lost their mind," the head of La Liga added.
Tebas also pointed out the publication of Athletic Madrid on social networks yesterday, when the club characterized Real Madrid's actions as "a reason for a joke," accusing "Korolevsky Club" of creating a tense environment. "What aggravates the situation before the derby," - this has already created intrigue, intensifying the tension before the matches against "Real Madrid," the referees described the arbiters of "Real" and say that the champion's direction - also referees of "Real," what Athletic Madrid does, - these are jokes, I cannot describe this otherwise.
Regarding the absence of Real at the meeting, Tebas noted: "They are against everyone, this is a fact, Real Madrid is trying to harm the competition, not just the arbiters, they invented a plot where they play the role of a victim and the result of this is their recent statement, they take the pose of a victim, but the reality is not so." In all visibility, the La Liga president excluded the possibility of a friendly settlement of the conflict with Real Madrid and Florentino Perez, emphasizing: "I do not believe that there is a way to a settlement, President of Real always wants to prove that he is right, so that we could put on face of his office (AS - Florentino Perez's company), saying: "We apologize for coming to you, Florentino, you saved football, and we did not understand this until we received your letter."
