Digital Transformation of Public Administration in Andalusia

The People-Centered Digital Strategy aims to modernize the Public Administration in Andalusia. It includes the digitization of services, improvement of the citizen experience, and optimization of processes.

Digital Transformation of Public Administration in Andalusia

The Andalusian government has presented the Triplán, an initiative aimed at modernizing and digitizing the regional administration. This strategy, born from social dialogue and an agreement with economic and social agents, seeks to improve and strengthen the public sector in Andalusia. The Triplán focuses on three main aspects.

The first of these, the Strategic Plan on the Provincial Territorial Organization Model, aims to create a solid and flexible provincial structure that responds to the real needs of citizens and businesses, modernizing the administration through four strategic pillars.

Regarding the People-Centered Digital Strategy, it focuses on transforming the Andalusian Public Administration through digitization, prioritizing the citizen and the business in service delivery. This project seeks to ensure that everyone can benefit from the digital environment through digital inclusion and the Andalucía Vuela program.

Finally, the Strategy for an Innovative Public Administration aims to create an administrative structure that responds efficiently to the needs of users. This implies profound changes, not only in the digitization of procedures but also in the redefinition of the administration, adapting to digital natives and anticipating the needs of citizens.

Antonio Sanz and José Antonio Nieto, councilors of the Presidency and Justice respectively, have highlighted the importance of this plan to modernize the territorial delegations and the government of the Junta. The goal is to achieve fully digital public services by 2030. The Triplán aims to ensure a solid technological foundation, with special attention to cybersecurity and the implementation of an extensive wifi network to support digitization.

To achieve this transformation, programs such as 'The Junta by your side', 'The Junta for you', 'Personalized services', or 'Your electronic headquarters' will be implemented to make the Administration more accessible to the citizen, either digitally or in person. Additionally, it will focus on specialized training for staff to ensure the necessary qualifications.

In this change process, the pilot program 'We will go to you' stands out, aimed at people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), reflecting the commitment of the Andalusian government to build a modern, proactive administration focused on the needs of citizens and businesses.
