Valencia Prepares for the 2025 Fallas Festival

Valencia is gearing up for the 2025 Fallas Festival with a spectacular event featuring live music, aerial performances, and a celebration of local talent. The opening ceremony on February 23rd will highlight the city's resilience and vibrant culture.

The 'Crida' of the Fallas 2025 in Valencia will be renewed this year with a "100% Valencian" focus. The event will feature professional singers, traditional dance, aerial acrobats, pyrotechnics, and a choir that will replace digital projections, all dedicated to highlighting the ability of the Valencian people to overcome adversity. Under the slogan "Awakening our hearts," the proposal stands out as a major bet on local talent with artists such as Lorena Calero and Gonzalo Manglano.

The Municipal Symphony Band will provide a preamble to the show with Fallas pasodobles starting at 7:00 PM on Sunday. The award-winning Valencian voice actress Pilar Martínez will give voice to the iconic Torres de Serranos, adding a human touch to the medieval construction with centuries of history.

This show will be filled with historical elements, tributes, and festive details of the city. The proposal will culminate with a tribute to the Offering on its 80th anniversary and to the first falla booklet by Bernat and Baldoví on its 140th anniversary. The importance of theatrical, musical, and artistic direction has been emphasized to create a Fallas rhapsody and poetic.

Additionally, the event will include the participation of local artists such as Lorena Calero and Gonzalo Manglano, who will perform the pasodoble 'El Fallero' alongside 30 members of the Escolanía de la Virgen. The performance by the eight members of the Sylphes Aerial Ballet, who promise to leave the audience breathless with their aerial choreographies, will also be a highlight of the event.

All these elements will come together to recreate a journey through the history of the Fallas and art. Live music will replace the usual DJs during the waiting period before the event starts. To ensure a friendly and enjoyable experience for all ages, police controls will be implemented to prevent alcohol consumption and unruly behavior around the Torres de Serranos.
