The Traffic Management Center of Valencia has designed a plan for the demonstrations on March 8, International Women's Day, which will involve traffic cuts and diversions of EMT lines in the city center next Saturday.
According to the municipal council, the routes of the different marches have been defined, which will be closed to vehicle traffic during their course, recommending the population to use public transport to reach these points.
One of the demonstrations that will cause the most traffic disruptions will start at 16:30, called by the Feminist Assembly of Valencia, following a route that covers several points in the city. Subsequently, between 19:00 and 21:30, another march will take place that will traverse different central streets.
The EMT has communicated possible interruptions in its transport network and the diversions of scheduled buses for Saturday, March 8, through its website, application, and other means.
In another order of events, at 18:00 the accesses to the streets through which a demonstration organized by the Feminist Coordinating Body of Valencia will transit will be closed. Additionally, starting at 18:00, a concentration will take place in an area of the city center that includes the Jardines del Parterre, the streets General Tovar and General Palanca, the Puerta del Mar, and the streets Palacio de Justicia and Navarro Reverter.
