Vibrant Fallas Festival in Valencia This Weekend

Valencia is celebrating Fallas 2025 with a variety of events including the traditional Cabalgata de Ninot on March 9, affecting traffic and public transport. Enjoy spectacular fireworks and festivities!

This weekend, Valencia is filled with activities framed within the Fallas 2025, featuring various firework displays and the celebration of the Cabalgata de Ninot. The Cabalgata is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 in the afternoon and will cause traffic disruptions and rerouting of EMT lines in the city center.

The traffic device will be activated from Saturday, March 8 with the events of International Women's Day, as well as the traditional mascletà at noon and a nighttime fireworks show in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. On Sunday, March 9, in addition to a new mascletà and a fireworks display, the long-awaited Cabalgata del Ninot will take place, which was postponed last week due to weather conditions.

The Cabalgata del Ninot will start at 5:30 PM from the Glorieta, traveling along Calle de la Paz and Calle de San Vicente until it reaches the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, then continuing down Avenida del Marqués de Sotelo towards Calle Xàtiva.

Valencia's EMT has reported that a total of 26 urban bus lines will be affected by the events of the weekend. Citizens are advised to stay informed about all modifications in the "Last Minute" section on the EMT website, as well as in its mobile application and communication channels.

The Cabalgata is expected to conclude around 8:00 PM, at which point a fireworks display will be offered in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
