Karla Sofía Gascón, a well-known trans actress, recently participated in the fifth 'Encuentro de las Estrellas', a charity football match that included the presence of Mexican representatives such as actors Pablo Cruz and Michelle Renaud. During an interview, Karla mentioned her connection to Real Madrid through her admiration for Hugo Sánchez, a legend of Mexican football and the 'merengue' team.

In her statements, Karla revealed that, years ago, she had the opportunity to try out for Real Madrid’s scouting due to a friendship with Hugo Sánchez. However, an obstacle prevented her from attending the tryouts: her mother wouldn't let her go because of the rain on the scheduled day. Despite this setback, Karla joked about comparing her story to that of Julio Iglesias, who went from being a youth goalkeeper for Real Madrid to a famous singer after an accident.

Karla Sofía Gascón, formerly known as Carlos Gascón, is an actress born in 1975 who began her career in Spain with roles in TV series such as 'El súper' and 'Calle nueva'. In Mexico, she is remembered for her participation in productions such as 'Corazón Salvaje', 'Llena de amor', and especially for her role in the successful movie 'Nosotros los nobles'.

The actress participated in the charity event alongside figures such as Iker Casillas and other footballers and artists. The match aims to raise funds for the rehabilitation of sports facilities damaged by extreme weather conditions in Valencia, Spain. This initiative brought together 26 legends from LaLiga in Spain and Ibero-American artists in a meeting prior to the XII Platino Awards. Karla, despite considering herself the oldest in the group at 53 years, appeared optimistic and hopes everything goes well.
